Why would it be throwing money down the drain when their are four other Paramount Parks go to two of which don't have the new height.

Well I don't know about you, but the reason I buy a season pass to Carowinds is because of its location. Why would you buy a season pass for a park 8 or 10 hours away? Also, I wouldn't be surprise if these changes are for the entire chain.

You would be surprised how many times some families do that.

Not to venture off topic, but does anyone have a list of the rides which have changed height requirements since last year?

And 'Nut, you've dug yourself into a pretty deep hole, it'd probably be best not post anymore in this topic..

EDIT: Well, I compared the 2005 and 2004 park maps yet didn't find many changes.. apparently the majority of the changes lie within the 'riding with a chaperone' category, which the 2005 park map does not cover well.

If it is any consolation, here is what I could conclude:

ride 2004 2005 difference
Hey Arnold's Taxi Chase under 36 40 4
Hurler 44 48 4
Thunder Road - Forward 44 48 4
Backyardigans Swing-a-long 33 36 3
Rocket Power Air Time 42 44 2
Thunder Road - Backward 50 48 -2

Quote From RollerNut:
I doubt any Six Flags would have been willing to do the same.

HAHAHAHA!!!! Yeah the would! I was stuck on the Mind Eraser last year at Six Flags New England, and they gave me a Seasons Pass for 2005. Too bad I can't use it now. <_<

I agree with Jonathan because you would be throwing money down the drain. Your kids don't grow that fast in a years time for a season pass. It's not like the pass is good for two or three years. You would then have to rebuy next year. Though you have a good point on the other options on other theme parks. Even if you did get your money back if I was the little kid I would be pissed off because I couldn't ride it and couldn't understand why. But I wouldn't buy my kid a season pass until their old enough and tall enoguh to enjoy all the rides in the park.
