That photo was taken in 2002 during the first 'C3' or ACE Scream-A-Thon as it was known then. We got to walk/tour the island before the rest of the park did later that night. At the end of the path we found the head. In late 2003 we were worried that they trashed it as the entire island was flattened for Borg, but we were relieved when we went to Scarowinds later that year and found <a href='http://www.pbase.com/jamminj/image/22273565' target='_blank'>it in the Carnival of Terror walkthrough.</a> I checked back at the season pass preview this year, but couldn't find it, heres hoping they auction it off before they trash it, a-la the Sternwheeler sign.
Short story - it was the drive-thru head from Stan Mikitas.
