I just had to make a post and say that I am devistated by the horrible situation that is unfolding in New Orleans. I'm not an overly religious person but I do believe in God. I hope that praying will help with this situation.

I feel so horrible about those that are in this situation and for those who have already died because of it. I hope that everyone involved in the effort to save these people can find the personal strength they will need to carry out their role in helping. I also hold hope that those trapped and needing help will get that help as soon as is humanly possible. Noone should have to go through such a terrible time.

I do believe that all will be well in the end.

Please take the time to think of something or someway you can help.

I was thinking of making a topic on this and I feel praying is what we can do now for all these people who losed their loved ones.

I feel terrible for the people of the Gulf coast.

I also can not stand our media!

It's one thing to cover the stories, but they are sending everybody and their brother down there and asking stupid questions like "You've just lost everything that you own in this world. How does that make you feel?" I'd be like, let me punch you in the face and show you how it makes me feel!

I also don't like the fact that they can only show the negative. I can not believe with a rational mind that everyone in New Orleans is a gang member running around with a machine gun.

Come on people get a clue.

The best thing to do right now I feel is to pray and to give what you can to somebody like the Red Cross.

I wonder if Carowinds will offer free admissions for Katrina victims the way they did for the Floriday Hurricane victims last year?
