I think I read somwhere that if you go to the park 5 times you get a free bring a friend day ticket. Is that true?

I've been like 10 times this year and didn't get an extra ticket.

Starting this year was a Platinum Rewards program... if you go 5 or more times on your platinum pass, just goto Admissions Service and redeem a free bring a friend ticket valid for that day. You can only redeem once (so if you've been to the park 21 times like me this season you dont get four...)

It has to be platinum pass, and you have to goto Admission services to get it,

but yes, its absolutely true... you can read about it somewhere on their website, and on one of the many newsletters they send out.

HUH? Where was this advertised? What is the difference between a season pass and a platuim pass? My pass is silver, and has "Platinium" but I never seen any benifits for it. Anyone notice ticket prices went up two dollars since the first day of operation.

All over the park, on the announcements in the park, and on the website AND on the newsletters throughout August and some of September... it started in late July

^ if it says 'Platinum' on it, and is not one of those fingerprint passes for 2005 not 2006... then its platinum. If it just says Season pass its regular, and you are not eligible for any of those benefits. If you bought it before May 8th of 2005, then you're platinum. If you can get into ERT or double ride tuesdays or any of those platinum benefits then yours is platinum

it doesn't apply to the regular passes though. Just platinum.

I never saw this on any of the newsletters either. I'll ask at GS Friday night and see what they say.

We want to reward you for visiting us this season! Just visit the park a total of five times before Sunday, September 18 and on your 6th visit, you’ll receive a free Bring-A-Friend ticket to Paramount’s Carowinds that can be used any day the park is open to the public before we close on November 6th!
