Apparently the entire site imploded. If you find any errors post them in this thread.

When you try to upload a new avatar it just puts the same one out there from before (in the same format like .jpg)

At least it didn't explode, then you would have a mess.
Jets were installed in 1975, built by the Go Forth Industries Company in Shebly, NC
Swings were installed in 1987, built by Zamperla.
Biplanes were installed in 1975, built by Chance Rides, it is a Red Baron.
Scream Weaver was installed in 1979 not 1978.
Frenzoid is gone.
The bar in between the pages on all pages.
7th Portal didn't show in 2002, Meteor Attack did.
The BB concept images page is messed up.
Goldrusher doesn't go 16MPH, it goes 30MPH.
Hurler, only has one capacity, and it isn't 700 per hour.
The Carousel actually came to Carowinds in 1978 for restoration, it was restored on the location of Double Decker Carousel. Carousel's capacity is between 750 and 900 per hour depending on how fast we are moving, and it spins at a rate of 2.54 rotations per minute. Yes, I counted how many times the Carousel goes around during a ride one day. I loved operating the Carousel but I missed Hurler.
I belive the original rapids rafts were built in house, and the ride was built by O.D. Hopkins, is that correct?

That looks like the Rapids layout.

Sorry, I guess I went overboard.

The original boats for RRR were built in house, but it was my understanding that the ride was built my Intamin, not O.D. Hopkins. I could be wrong on that though.

PS: I know that's not the purpose of this thread, sorry.

I think Jon was refering to problems with the website in viewing pages, posting and stuff like that Rollernut. I doudt he wanted your vast knowledge in correcting timelines and stuff like that.

Now everyone likes a little *ss every now and then but could live with out the smart ones.

Hahaha

Yeah, I was referring to the server errors that people have getting over the last few days, but if you see errors with the information on the site, I don't have a problem with you pointing them out. To be completely honest with you guys, though, I really don't have any intention of correcting those.

A few corrections here:

7th Portal did, in fact, run in 2002. It ran on the left or “A” side and Meteor Attack ran on the right or “B” side.

The Carousel also was not restored on the site of the original double decker. The double decker was located smack in the middle of what is now the Paramount Plaza, so this isn’t possible.

Thats almost rapids layout but it's not. RRR is a little different. If you look at an arieal view you can see that the track surves by the startion alot closer to the station than in that drawing and the circut.

It's pretty close but not the same.

I saw a picture in a book of the Carousel next to the flume.

^ This is my brother next to it.

Looks more like the picnic shelters or something in the background.

I don't recall where it was because I was so young when they removed it. But according to my 73 or 74 map, it was right next to the flume (near the front of the park).

That is the Double Decker Carousel, the Antique Carousel was restored near that spot in 1978. That is the Monorail in the background, the DD Carousel was next to the flume.

Ok, so I was alittle off it was behind the actual spot that the DD Carousel sat on. Paramount Plaza just seems a lot smaller than looks I guess. It was restored next to the Log Flume.
