Did anyone else get the Spring Dinning Survey? This survey was a little odd to me as it was asking mainly about price, quality and value for your money between the park and other places and asked a few questions about Coke.

Ok, I hate Coke and most of their products. If it were not for Sprite I would be a thirsty man inside the park. It would be time to bring the cooler and walk outside every now and again.

To me I kind of quit complaining about the prices of food inside the park. It is the quality of food that will make me eat in or not. I expect to pay higher prices if I eat inside but not double the price.

Overall I think Carowinds has a good diversity in Foods but it would be nice to have a "unique" dinner. Hmm, I.O.A. restaurants come to mind, not only good, but eye appealing the whole time you’re eating. Also, I liked the Coke (arghhhh) restaurant at 6 Flags over Georgia. It's not that their food was that good but I loved the view.

Here is the link to the survey:

I filled it out, for what it is worth, and there was opportunity to pour in some suggestions on other matters. Our family tends to like Pepsi products and especially Mountain Dew, born right here in the Carolinas. Like Forseer, I'm sure glad we can still get a Sprite OR a cup of ice water for free.

On our trip to Busch Gardens - Tampa, we had lunch at a wonderful spot called the Zambia Smokehouse, nestled beneath Sheikra, with a birds eye view of folks getting wet by the coaster and hearing it "sing" everytime it went by. That combined with a rack of ribs and a half chicken was about as good as it gets in the parks, to me at least.

Whenever "we" get that new coaster someday, I hope they put in an equally satisfying restaurant or eatery nearby, but for now, we'll just load up before we arrive and after we visit. Come quickly Cracker Barrel! :)

Of course, I suggested bringing back the discount on food if you're a Platnium passholder. I seemed to buy a lot more when that was going on.

I don't really have a complaint about the food at the park. It has its good days and its bad days.
