Low and behold i recieved my complimentary tickets to dry run day at Carowinds. So being a former employee i thought wow i get to see how guests feel now. Well let me say i wasnt excited as what i thought it would be.

I got to the parking lot some it is paved but not a lot the entrance still has the metal detectors. Here is what greets everybody now when you enter through North Gate

Overall rides were breaking down and staff was way overstaffed hope that will get better for when they need staff the most. So Far Overall Grade the week before Opening

I actually like the pimped out paint job on the skytower. I think anytime that you throw an American flag on something big in an amusement park it gives the park a "state fair" kind of appeal. I like that approach. Mix our new patriotic skytower, with some fireworks, and Kool And The Gang and you've got the makings of one sweet July 4th.

As for Southern Star, I'm not conspiracy theorist but hindsight is twenty-twenty and I believe that in 1986 (when Frenzoid was installed) Al Qaeda provided the financial backing for the introduction of a mass torture device for the American people. So enter the Frenzoid for a good 19 years of tears, and tyranny. Then a new dawn emerges, birds sing, babies are born, and ghey butterfly's flap about in the new caro "winds" of change. The Frenzoid is removed, Saddam Husen's statue is torn down, all is well. Then theres the Southern Star, and for nostalgia purposes I have nothing downtrodden to say. Not a big fan of the new sight either, then again I probably wouldn't be.
