Some quotes from the article:
"Season pass sales and use were also up, including at Carowinds, which appears to be among the best-performing parks in the company, said analyst James Hardiman of FTN Midwest Securities."
Not sure how accurate that is, but could help in bringing something nice to Carowinds in the future if it is.

"At competitor Six Flags, which has 20 parks, attendance declined 3 percent in the first half of the year, but revenue increased 1 percent because of sponsorship and licensing agreements. The new Hard Rock Park in Myrtle Beach, meanwhile, has fallen short of projections that many say were too lofty to begin with."

I guess those $15 parking fees are catching up with Six Flags.

I would have expected the park to see a dip in attendance, but with people staying home more it makes sense.
