So According to the link....the sale of those plots of land on the right side of the Entrance road is fairly recent. Like I am talking about the sale date is listed as the 5th of March of 2009!!!! It looks as if Carowinds may have owned it or whoever this company is named "CCD Charlotte II LLC" to a company out in HOUSTON , TEXAS. The new owners are Laminar Direct Capital Acquisition 2 LLC. So now I am confused. What exactly does this mean?

Googled the Charlotte LLC, the following story comes up.

Seems there was alot more that was going to be developed out there. Possible the people that got the mall decided they wouldn't go forward with their plans described in the article, possibly due to the economy. They could have sold it to someone else that may develope it.
