With Carowinds grand opening and sure good bit of people from Carowinds Connection has ridden Intimidator or is about to, A lot of people has there difference opinon about where to sit and which is better. From the best view (Front Row)...More air time (Middle) or the "fast section that wipeds you around" the back. To, you which is best any why?

It was a hard decision to decide what seat is the best but my favorite had to be the very back seat on the outside. It just seems faster, as most coasters do in the back, and the air time was great. I think all seats are great. I havent sat in the very front row yet but have did rows 2 3 and 4. I prefer the outside wherever I sit though because the wind is just incredible on the outside. I also love how the seats lay back some so your feet are off the floor this is a cool feeling, kind of makes me wish it was floorless lol. Overall, any seat is good but the very back or middle and an outside seat are the best!

I personally think the back is better! But there's no bad seat!

The front is great for some serious speed and a nice view!
The back is nice for a more airtime feeling and speed!
The middle is a combination of both the middle and back!

On one hand I kinda wish this ride had that one magic seat where it just totally kicked. Top Gun / Afterburn has this for me, and probably most others: right seat, back row, Shark train. Pure unadulterated bliss, and for me every part of the ride is better back here ride-wise. Of course the view is better up front.

On the other hand, every ride seems to deliver something different. I might get off one ride thinking the 2nd hill didn't do much for me, then get assigned a seat on the next ride where that hill really shines. I suppose with the assigned seating it's probably good to have several different experiences throughout the train.

If they assigned seats on Afterburn, for example, I'd be a bit bummed anytime I didn't get row 1 or row 8. I've never really noticed any of the middle rows on that ride delivering anything unique. Not that they're bad, mind you, just there's no compelling reason to ride row 3 over Row 1 (view) or row 8 (best forces).
