just bought this mug off ebay and not really sure how old it is anything any info on it would be great!

It would be awesome if Carowinds would sell stuff with the old logo on it, kinda like what Disney does.

That looks like the early 70s logo.
I don't get the cowboy theme though. I don't ever remember a ranch style show except for the little cowboy show in the Boardwalk area but that was during late 90s to early 2000. Neither the show, or the theater is there anymore.

What did your sellers say about it?

That Mug is from the early 70's. The logo was discontinued in 1975 when Taft bought the park. I still have some Letter Head paper form the early 70's. I think I may have some Logo letter head from 1970. It was sort of ugly. The park also had some Mugs that were part of the Ambassadors Club package. I think I have some of those also. I have some equipment that was used for a Slide Show that we had to take around the Carolinas to promote the park before it opened.

They also had bumper stickers with that logo. We owned a few and I remember placing one in my sticker collection. That logo was okay, but every company wants their own mark. I like Cedar Fair's present roller coaster track logo.
