Wanted to share this important bit of info...from a coaster expert.

A little factoid: When a wooden roller coaster receives new wood for just where the train rolls on it is considered a reprofile. When a wooden roller coaster has areas of it rebuilt, including supports, its considered a retracking. Reprofiles are common on wooden coasters because of how wood ages and is done regularly, like every 10 years or so.


Here I am thinking all this time it was the other way about...but im glad for budget sakes the track only gets "reprofiled" every 10 year!
