Why mess up the plaza area at the Vortex? Its actually one of the nicer areas in the park and has some shade. I think they use it for stage areas during competitions. The only complaint that I have about it is they need a walk way that cuts through there and comes out at the "tunnel" going back to the front of the park. They could easily cut off part of the Vortex's entrance to build this path.
