General Carowinds discussion

I just renewed our season passes and we plan on going for the first time this season on Sunday, yay! My kids are so excited :D .

I read a comment on Carowinds' FB page that you can no longer refill your old souvenir cups. Sucks, cause we bought 5 or 6 of them last year, but oh well. My question is, is it true you no longer get free refills when you buy a new souvenir cup on the day of purchase? And if it is, are they still the same price or did they go up even higher? Seems everything else did. Thanks!

I just went today so I may be able to help with this. In the map it says -

2013 Souvenir Sports Bottle with Free Refills
Enjoy cool refreshing Coca-Cola beverages all day long!
Buy your 2013 bottle today and get free refills on the day of purchase and $.99 refills when you visit again!

Previous season bottles are not eligible for refills

So it sounds like on the day of purchase you get free refills, and 99 cents the rest of the year. Unfortunately I didn't bother to look at the initial price for them, as I generally stick with the free water cups.

Hope this helps a little bit.

I didnt buy a new one this yet, they normally run at almost ten dollars. If Carowinds would cut their food prices, more people would eat in the park. $9.50 for a burger and friee then $3.29 for a drink is too much. Atleast te food is pretty good, other parks have terrible food. A $9.99 price point would be better for a burger, fries and a drink.

I agree, the food prices are ridiculous! We've only ever bought fries, ice cream cones, Cinnabon, and funnel cakes so not sure how most of the food tastes. Too expensive to try it all out with 6 kids.
