So, when do the parades start at Carowinds. Is it mostly Nick characters, or a variety of Paramount Movie characters??

That's too bad about it only being Nick characters. It seems like a great chance for Paramount to throw out alot of movie franchise characters into a park experience. I understand it being geared toward kids, but I think to appeal to a wider audience would have been even better.

Is this something that Nick is footing the bill on, or was it's Paramount's idea to sorta test the waters for future Parades?

Being that paramount and Nick are of the same company I dont think its who's gonna pay for what. If they incorporated anything other than Nick characters in the parade then it wouldnt be a Nick parade. I think this is a good idea because only park that i know of that can mix the old w/ the new characters are disney parks.......Besides that area is kinda dull right now so i hope the parade will being some life back to it!!

Nick and Paramount are the same? :o

So why the heck does Universal Studios have the tv shows and the Jimmy Neutron ride?

Honestly, I have no clue who owns what anymore since all companies change around so often now. I thought Scooby Doo was with Warner Bros, but you have several attractions at Paramount parks with these characters. Maybe someone can break this down for us.

Scooby doo is a HB character like all the ones in animation station. Six flags owns cartoon network which showcase scooby doo cartoons so it has the rights to use it, but not for free of course. I dont wanna say anything wrong so heres a quote

On March 11, 1994, Paramount merged with Viacom Inc, under the leadership of Sumner Redstone, chairman of the board and chief executive officer. Mel Karmazin is president and chief operating officer. Jonathan Dolgen is chairman, Viacom Entertainment Group. Sherry Lansing is chairman, Paramount Motion Picture Group. Today, Paramount Pictures, together with Paramount Television, CBS Television, Simon & Schuster Publishing, MTV Networks, Showtime Networks, Infinity, BET, UPN, Paramount Parks and Blockbuster Entertainment comprise the entertainment leader, Viacom Inc.
And Viacom also owns nick so thats why you started to see mroe nick stuff being added to the park.

And as far as other parks using this its all about money making. Paramount sells rights to the other parks to use their franchise so thats why universal had the attractions down there!!

Just think of all the posibilities that can happen at the parks!!!
