Has anyone stayed at the Carowinds Campground? I was thinking about arranging a "stay-cation" for my family.
Then I was thinking. What about a Carowinds Connection overnight next Spring when the new attractions open? Think it would be cool. Underage members would have to come with adults of course.
Would be a great way for us to all meet. I'm sure the park management would support the event just like they do at Cedar Point and Kings Dominion.
Anybody have any thoughts?

I would certainly be interested. We'd be staying in a 50 amp site. We were displeased with the KOA down the road when we stayed there Memorial Day weekend so we decided we'd stay at Camp Wilderness next time. It's been years since we stayed at Camp Wilderness. We stayed at KD and CP campgrounds in 2011.

Our only major gripe with Camp Wilderness is that it doesn't have cable TV.

It would be great for all of the CC members to get together. I would love to meet all of you for we share some common interests, and that means that you are all fine people in my book. Good thing I am no longer a minor. I would definitely come to that event. Just as long as it is in the Summer months when I am out of college.
