Well after a fun week at Myrtle Beach I decided to go to carowinds today. What a day it was. It wasnt as crowded as it was 2 weeks ago and it wasnt to hot. Borg has been having a lot of breakdowns lately though. Today they were running 2 trains for the first time i have ever seen. Of course we waited in line for around 45 min and go to be the next ones to get on and it breaks down for about 20 min. After that we came back and were almost the first ones on it. Then we rode some other rides of course and about 3 hrs later BORG is down again probaly for the rest of the night cause it was about 7. Does BORG breakdown everyday? Has there been 1 day that it has not been down for at least 15 min. This sux I hope this isnt gonna be like it was in Cali. and breaking down nonstop cause that is what it seems like. Oh well on another note top gun was great both times we rode it. Thunder Road backwards was running excellent and fast. I couldnt believe that Days Of Thunder was back! We rode that it wasnt as long as it seemed....ummm 5 years ago? or longer? It was still pretty good tho! Another fun day at carowinds!

Thats odd because every visit i have had lately the coaster has been running good. No break downs, no anything. Yesterday it ran, with both trains, until closing and last sunday it ran, with both trains, until i left (which was a little after 6). I mean it is a complex coaster none the least but i havent had any problems with getting on it and things of that nature. Guess im the lucky one. Perhaps you wanna go to the parks with me!! ;)

Well I got to the park today bout Noon, and found that Borg was down.

I asked the attendant what was up, and he said it was temporarily down.

I decided to go ride other things. They ran one test train with a couple of the mechanics on it, when I was riding the sky tower.

So there was a mad dash to get in line.

Well after about five minutes, no other trains showed up on the track.

So I went to Rip Roarin Rapids, rode it, rode Hurler and then saw that Borg was running full trains.

I walked back over there to find them running two trains, and a long line. I decided to risk it, and it only took me 30 minutes to get on! The line was way past the loop too. I was surprised how fast it moved.

They also have closed the single rider line for good according to the ride op in the station. Apparantley it wasn't working.

Has anyone else noticed that one train is very quiet going up the lift and the other train is very loud going up the lift?

I got there at 10am. Borg was running a one train operation. The Mechs were working on the second train. I was glad to see that they got it up and running in the afternoon.

No more single rider line?

That sucks. If it wasn't working it had to be all the miscommunication between ops. I have seen them when they have special guests coming up the exit stairs, regular guests in the family line and guests in the singles line and they can never get in sync with what needed to be done to make it work. Maybe they should go to Universal Studios and learn from them.

That kind of ticks me off seeing how I go to the park by myself alot. Yes, I know, it was a perk and they did not have to do it but it still sucks.

Yes I wish the single rider line could have been made to work.

It did work, it was just abused.

I know that. I say a train with at least 1-2 empty seats on each lane.

Yes. It's very weird. Especially riding the quiet one.
