Whining? I asked "Flooding?" How is that whining? I simply didnt understand how it was flooding when the area around it wasnt....
Jarsh gave an answer that made sense for the most part. I then questioned why Paramount is getting all the blame. In 10 years is everyone still going to blame Paramount when the park gives a similar reason for a future removal.

It comes across as whining because you make it so personal. 'Blaming' Paramount. Nobody was coming at it like Paramount did some horrible thing and should be blamed and go down for it for all time. It's a building. An unimpressive one at that (Save for the upstairs that was ruined).

It's a very simple matter. Someone, at some point after damage was done, decided not to fix the problem. Perhaps it was Paramount Management, and perhaps they let it go to the point of it being too costly to repair.

Or perhaps when CF took it over, it could have been repaired, but they choose not to invest money in it at the time either.

Nobody here seems to know anything beyond it was damaged during the Paramount years and Cedar Fair decided it was too costly to fix.

No one was trying to insult your precious Paramount. I dont' know why you're all about some Paramount. They did an okay job, but in hindsight, it's obvious that they underutalized Carowinds, but all in all I think they did a decent job. Cedar Fair is pushing the park in a different way to better use it to serve the Charlotte market.

But none of us know what Paramount could or would have done to the park eventually.
