I was wondering what everyone's least favorite area of Carowinds is. For me, it's the area by the saturator to WWF. The whole area just isn't shaded well, there isn't much going on, and you're always in a hurry to go through the area, well me atleast. I never ride the Saturator, and I try not to make eye contact with the games people and I guess the rush through the area has made me kind of look down on it. I think the whole area just needs a dark colored attraction?

What do you all think?

Thrill Zone. Since the Wayne's World theming was removed, it's nothing but a large concrete pad.

Hopefully it will be the next area to get a make-over.

I kind of wish the park would have kept the games restricted to Carolina Showplace and the County Fair, but now games are all over the place. As are those damn basketballs.

I think its weak where the entrance to the Hurler is and where the Skyflyer is. There's just nothing happening there.. plus its a dead end. Basically much of Thrill Zone is weak.

I agree thrill zone is the worst place. One thing is they should put Hurler's entrance near the exit or have a cross over.

Okay, let's see. So now we've got Hurler, Cyclone, Frenzoid, Whitewater Falls, and Rip Roarin Rapids being removed. Clearly there's going to be an Intamin giga rocket coaster that will start where Hurler is, launch through where Cyclone is, go into a spaghetti bowl where Whitewater Falls and Frenzoid are, do a circle around the County Fair, and then meander back to Hurler. I believe we've figured it out.

My least favorite area is the parking lot. Not enough scenery or enough theming

I think that thrill zone (which need a major rehab) and the Carolina Showplace (which is ok...) should both be rethemed to be a giant new area. Might I suggest a wild west or jungle theme.

Seriously, the weakest area of the park is Thrill Zone, IMO. Sky Coaster needs to go. Hurler could be renamed The Jack Hammer. We all love that up & down beating it gives us. Add a Sky Scraper ride, a few high tech flats and WHALLAH, Thrill Zone would actually be "thrilling".

The second weakest area in the park to me is County Fair. Again, more flats, less games would be my choice. But, my choice of flats would be carnival type flats to give it that real "fair" feeling. Rides like a Tilt-A-Whirl, Roll-O-Plane, bring back the Wild Bull, and heck, guess I'll throw in a Zipper & Himalaya while I'm at it....

Sky Coaster needs to go.

If that goes I would be happy the can put a good size coaster in that area. They need to rtheme thrill zone to some kind of movie like (Leathel Weanpn not sure if it is a paroumount movie) or John wayne type of place.
