Its been a while since I posted but hey im back......................im just sitting at work thinking, "Is paramount parks predictable??". What I mean about that is you know how when six flags aquired all of its parks we all know that everyone of them will have a batman or superman attraction of some sort. And we all knew that every park would eventually get a batman clone. Also I knew that after ultimate flight open several more were sure to come.

So with saying that do you think that paramount is predictable with its additions and so forth. And please dont say "yes" or "no", have some substance behind what you have to say  !!

Oh yeah and before I go, remember those surveys about the 2 ride concepts...................**stay tuned**

Well, I don't think they would send the same ride to every park like Six Flags does. I do think they occasionally clone successful concepts, but normally not at every park. For example, Carowinds and Kings Dominion were the only P. parks to get Wayne's World. Kings Island and Kings Dominion were the only ones to get Outer Limits: Flight of Fear coasters.

So, if a concept is successful, I think it's predictable that Paramount will build more than one, but just not at every park. (Though they did seem to do that with the Drop Zones)

I thought they'd start cloning Tomb Raider(PKI), but that is yet to happen. Same with Boomerang Bay.

I kind of think they may rotate between the Adam's Family and the Italian Job rides...One park gets an Italian Job ride, the next gets the Adam's Family coaster. (Or base it around the surveys)

Well, with Six Flags, Disney, Universal, and Paramount. Ride name repetition and cloning are smart, cost-effective, and easily recognizable. All parks do this and it makes a lot of sense why they do it. Using copyrighted names for clones or different variations of a ride makes sense. Since this does not seem to be anything unusual I'm not sure what else to say.

As long as the parks aren't carbon copy and have unique rides and layouts, they will all have strong and weak points. :)

I totally agree with you. Paramounts normally just does it for two of their parks, so that each one one of their parks is unique in its on little way. The name Top Gun is at 3 of their parks, but the coasters are different. PGA has a Top Gun like ours except the layout and inversions and basically everything is different. PKI has a true suspended Top Gun (same kind of trains as Big Bad Wolf.) And we have one like PGA. In my opinion, ours is the best one. Now I have never riden the other ones, but the statistics show that ours is faster, taller, longer, longer ride time, etc.. than the other ones. They variate the rides, even though there basically the same, unlike Six Flags parks, which all have clones of each other. So, does this answer your question????

I agree what you say exactly. Even if it is the same company each parck should be unoque.
