Watching the live webcam from Cleveland and I was wondering what's up with the fire trucks near the entance plaza under the bridge right after Saturday night closing?

Something happened on Flying Ace Aerial Chase. I was listening to the scanner and the responders said all was ok and the staff was doing a great job at emptying the trains. No injuries. Sounds like an E-stop condition. Nothing major.

Thanks Mark. We came down last weekend and never noticed that service road under the plaza bridge! Great park! Great new ride! Thanks for the Carowinds hospitality to all!

^^To add to this, Opening day, Nighthawk got stuck and had to be evacuated. We were in line at the time.

Oops! I meant fury was evacuated on opening day. I have no idea what happened with the fire trucks today.

Yeah, we were in line when Fury was evacuated. About 40 minutes later the ride was up and running again. Nothing major I assume.

It was evacuated last Sunday, too.

20 feet sounds like the brake run. I am surprised they would need to call the fire dept unless the train valleyed before the brake run.

Hmm, strange. Doesn't the lift catwalk go all the way to ground?

On opening day, we were in the early entry line (near the front) while waiting for the temperatures to increase, and we noticed a fire truck pull through the access road at a normal rate of speed (but with the flashers going) - any idea why they were there at 10am or so?
