Sandusky was a tourist destination before the park because of the beach. The park sprung up because the beach was so popular.

Cedar Point opened in1870. Sandusky was founded in 1816. Sandusky is a what it is because of Cedar Point. I'm from Lorain which is 25 mi east of Sandusky. There isn't much todo there besides Cedar Point
