This ride needs some serious renovation, blasters not working, targets not working, and did any of you notice the jumpscare and the mist effect is gone. Why is that...
Does Carowinds even care about this anymore.

I didn't even know there was a mist effect. And yeah that ride just disappoints me. I took my cousins on it last week and we had no choice but to just sit there. One of the blasters on the cart was shooting but the sound was coming out of another blaster, which I found hilarious because I'm not sure how that even happens. I remember the boxes used to "fall" at the end and they don't do that anymore. Along with that, they have a coffin that hangs from the ceiling at one part that I think used to also "fall" and doesn't anymore. Saying that, this is sort of dreaming but a two story version of that ride would be more exciting, and it could incorporate a small vertical drop like Verbolten or Wonder Mountain.

This hasn't worked properly since at least 2011 from the only times I've been on it. Fun little chill ride because kids just love to shoot at Boocifer.

I actually like this ride, and I'd like it even more if it was working properly. I always beat all my friends/family.

You could get an upgrade from Sally. Wonderland did on ours this past season. Much improved! (2014 was deemed the year of tech upgrades at CW with Guardian, upgraded Boo Blasters, and a few rides getting LEDs to replace the old lighting packages). Are you guys using four person cars, or two? We had two person cars prior to 2014 and the increased capacity this past year was amazing! We even had a competition on Boo Blasters for our enthusiast event last year ("Guardathon") and me and my fiancee came in first place and won a bolt from Guardian! (It goes well with my Behemoth brake brass and her Silver Streak piece). I love Boo Blasters but it was only this past year that it became worth the wait (shorter wait and better experience)!

We have four person cars. Two rows of two.

I'd be fine if they didn't do anything to change it other than fix the sensors and actuators that are failing. Although there are greater and more exciting dark rides out there, there is something about Sally shooting dark rides that I love despite their simplicity.

This is my son's absolute favorite ride in the park so I ride it a few of times a year. It seems quite apparent that no maintenance/upkeep has been done to this ride since it was rethemed to Boo Blasters.
