Up until Fury 325, Afterburn was my favorite coaster. Afterburn looks scary from the ground, but it is an ultra smooth ride. I love inverted coasters. You really do feel the g forces on your body, but that is what makes it fun for me. I highly recommend this coaster!

It's really intense and you feel the forces. Inverts are very fun rides. There is nothing to compare them to if you have never been on one.

These kinds of questions are really hard because the effects of the inverts can feel different to many. Some people get nauseated, others a rush.

Afternburn is a great coaster. Its inverts are intense but smooth at the same time. The only other coaster that has felt similar to me is Alpengeist at BGW, but considering they are both B&M I'm not shocked.

If you're going for your first time and it's your first time on an invert, wait for the front row! The clear field of vision makes the front row worth the wait. It's forceful but smooth, as said above. Some riders like the back row for the forces, but I like seeing where I'm going.

I did the back row for the first time last weekend.......I didn't care for it at all. It was forceful but not remotely as entertaining as the front or even middle. The Front on inverts is my fav, in general.

Afterburn is one of my favorite coasters, and inverts have a totally different feel than the sit down coasters. I want to eventually ride Banshee which is an even bigger version.
