Do we have a sign out in front of Carowinds that says "Stupid people come in here."?

I was in line for Afterburn and I suddenly heard "Release 3 and 4". I looked up and saw 2 women (one in row 3 and one in row 4) get pulled for having a purse on the ride. They slowly proceeded to put them into the bins, came back to their seats and they went through the same locking procedure again. AGAIN I heard "Release 3 and 4". I looked up again and BOTH of the women's seatmates were being pulled for the SAME reason. They had to get up and put their purses in the bins.

I think if the person next to me had an issue with the attendant, I would be smart enough to realize that issue would apply to me too. It took more than 5 minutes for that train to be released (these women were not of the slim nor speedy variety.)

It's official, I'm opposed to bins WITH A PASSION now. Or, at the very least, opposed to stupid people.

whenever I have ladies with me at the park, they are smart enough to bring as little into the park as possible. Whoever comes with me to any park knows that we don't bring much into the park. Just money, phones, camera. That's all. And small ziplock bags just in case we want to get wet or if we have loose change.

My wife has one of those mini-backpacks... much more convenient than a purse. But she tosses it into the bin BEFORE she sits down and gets belted and ratcheted in.

Because I had to sit there for 5 minutes dealing with those ladies stupidity. (Is why I amended the statement) I actually don't mind the bins for the people who know how to use them. I guess those ladies were just thinking they were going to swing their purses around while zipping through the bat-wing. Maybe stupid isn't the right word... ignorant maybe? or maybe I should stick with my first assessment... especially for the 2 women who didn't get the memo on the first release.

Is why I like the load-time for Fury so much.

Lol lol...let me make sure I understand...you're the one complaining about waiting an extra 5 minutes and resolve to calling people idiots and stupid. THEN. You go on to place blame on the bins...as if they had the major part in you waiting a measly 5 minutes (which is minuscule since I'm sure the ride was a walk on). Obviously the idiots and stupid people were on your mind this morning for you to make a pointless thread about your ISOLATED situation...but "I" woke up on the wrong side of the bed??? Was not a walk-on. Was 30+ minutes. Got in line at 10:35 and got off just before 11:10. Line was around the corner past the AFTERBURN sign.
