I went to Carowinds friday, and i just came off of southern star and i saw Dodg'ems being evacuated, Because of a smoking car. Do you know what could have caused this.

It was evacuated because that is a non-smoking area. Had it happened in another area with an umbrella it might have been fine.

One of the bumper carts was smoking, like it was catching fire...

A fabric hair band got caught under one of the cars. Quickly fixed and the ride was back in motion in no time.
