The food at Stan Mikitas was actually pretty decent this year. Can't say much about the cleanliness of the dining area, but the food wasn't as greasy.
Wings and Country Kitchen are normally my choices for food when I'm at the park. Both are normally very clean and in a nice setting. Casey's Grill was pretty decent too, but it was demolished when they built Ricochet.
I Would personally like for Carowinds to try putting some local dishes in there resturants, similar to what Dollywood does. Carowinds is in the Southeastern United States, which is known for exotic home-cooking. I Think it would be very nice to have some less commercial foods and try with more unusual dining.
But, I really don't consider the food a major factor in the park expierence. I normally just load up on Funnel Cakes and Dippin Dots when I'm at the park anyway, beacuse that's what the park wants you to do.
