I always get a kick out of ebay sellers that are clueless about what they are selling.

Happens quite a bit on ebay.

awwwww. I want it.

(I'll let someone else snap it up though.)

I always look for Carowinds stuff on ebay, too.

I wish I could find my "Square Bear" from the Hair Bear Bunch.
It was my first Carowinds souvenir.

Hummm....Why am i tempted to purchase that stuff. I see it but im still scared of what can happen. Working here at wachovia (currently at work now :P ) I hear alot of horror stories about how people buy things from people on e bay and they ruin their bank accts so im a little leary about the e bay thing!! but I really wanna get some of that stuff. May be worth something in the long run

I've been selling and buying on ebay since 1999 and have only had 1 non-paying bidder. Everything that I've bought was just as advertised. Go ahead! Beware though, it's addicting!

BTW, the whole point of me showing that auction was the fact that it was labeled "1960's". The seller obviously had no clue that Carowinds wasn't even here until 1973...

I've been buying and selling since 98. I have 500+ feedback. It's more safe today than ever. You can do transaction with little or no direct communication now a days, and you can always use Paypal or Money Orders to pay. Don't live life scared, just carefully. NEVER respond to mail "from Ebay" asking for information or saying your account needs to be verified or updated, because it is not coming from Ebay... that's where they get people and their info - through Fake Emails. I have had several official-looking emails with the logos and everything, but I know better. I always forward them to spoof@ebay.com hopefully so the real Ebay can track these people down. They always respond back that "the email you received was not sent by Ebay".

Yeah i thought it was funny. I saw this a couple days ago.

Wow, I didn't even know that Carowinds was around in the 60's

And as far as ebay goes, I've probably bought at least 50 items off of ebay since 2002 and only had one person that wouldn't mail me the item.

Ebay shut them down because so many people complained (of course after my m/o was gone of course).

But ebay will shut them down.

Best thing to do is look at their feedback rating for negative feedback.

I'm currently suspended for being a non-paying bidder. :P

Though I did have 43 successful transactions prior to the two that slipped. (most of which were amusement park related)

My dad has an account (I'm the person who actually uses it) with 13 feedback on it. We have never had trouble with a transaction and I agree that ebay is great, you just need to be cautious. We've never bought any carowinds related stuff though...
