Wrong. I have a full time job working at ZF Transmissions in Gray Court, SC (google is your friend if you don't know what or where that is) Monday through Friday from 7am-3:30pm. I work a lot of Saturdays also from 6am-2:30pm. I'm using one of my paid vacation days to attend this event.

Thank you, Chris. You understand. Most of the people that I talk to on a daily basis don't have any respect for the avid coaster fan. I told a few people that I was coming to the announcement and they were like: "well why not just save your money and watch it online?" Sadly, they don't know the feeling of actually being there for the moment, and I don't either. That's why I'm working my tail off to get enough money to come there next week (also to meet all of you guys). Then again, other people that I talk to just don't care about stuff like this and have no idea.

EDIT: Oops, I was late in posting this one (sorry)

I just herd virginia and thought atleast 4 hours away. While I've been to several media days...I've only been to intimidators announcement. Foe me it was fun because I kinda know and have met all of the "before intimidstor" CC crowd. So is it save to say a lot of you guys are gonna be there?

Good news! I will be at the announcment! I am really looking forward to meeting all of you and hope that this will be a great way to plan some type of monthly CC trip to the park. Since this will be my first coaster event ever! Should I dress formal, semi-formal, casual, etc...

While technically there is no dress code I would keep in mind the media will be there and are very willing to interview the fans for their reaction. Dress to impress??? I would say yes but its no prom...

While this isn't an ACE event, we have a Media Policy to help explain some things that might be helpful for those who have never attended such an event. Pay close attention the the "Clothing" & "Comments" sections as those will apply to this event.

Remember - you are not representing one particular club at this event, but rather coaster enthusiasts as a whole. Please don't act a fool or do anything that would jeopardize the parks relationship with coaster enthusiasts.

What if we had CC Tee-shirts? *ducks and runs*

Anyway, I have finalized who my guest will be and unfortunately, he is not a member of CC. All we need to know now is if we are all gonna get together somewhere before we go to the park to check in...

I emailed her asking about video recording and a few other things... She said the following:

---They will have a VIP/name tag pass for everyone (which we will receive as we check in. Your name will be on the RSVP list along with the name of your guest. So if you're bringing a guest, email her the name of said guest so they will have a name tag prepared for both of you.

---She also asked Julie if video recording for YouTube would be permitted and Julie answered "yes, that YouTube would be fine." So I will be filming the event and uploading it to YouTube.

I also emailed her asking about attire and I listed a few different combinations and such (you can tell that I've never been to an event like this) so that way we can dress appropriately.
Have a great day guys.

Also, I realize that it's a bit early for this, but does anyone have any other ideas as to where we should all meet before the announcement?
