I advise a warning against working at an amusement park.....
It is an experience I have never forgotten and as Mike Fehnel said "it gets in your blood". Having myself worked in two parks, I enjoyed it a lot and learned a lot too. If Tweetsie were closer I would try them, but unless it is a full time job it is too far out for me.

^ I don't think they have dorms buddy. But it's great we might have someone at the park who is an enthusiast and understands the value of customer service.

I have already worked out living arrangements with the park. Besides, in a few years, the park plans to build on site housing like Cedar Point and King's Dominion. It's no secret, so It's okay for me to say it. I live 2.5 hours north from Charlotte, in Bassett, VA. Henry County.

Why??? Because it didn't work out for you? I'm sure the park has lots of positive stories compared to your one. There has to be a reason good folks like eunice keeps coming back.

Wait, how can you have living arrangements with the park worked out but you haven't been to the pre-screening yet? Are you a guaranteed hire? Is there some close doors, good old boy network stuff going on?

Jarvis did you finish reading or stop at the first sentence? It is a happy warning, gosh can't I be positive.

I'm also wondering what you have figured out for living arrangements? I wasn't planning on applying to Carowinds because I live close-ish, but not close enough to get there easily every day. One of the other main reasons I'm personally not applying is because it's too close to home, but if I knew I could get living arrangements then I would probably apply just as a back up in case nothing else works out. I could at least still be independent if I was living there.

Perhaps you may want to look into picking better words . . .
