Oh, they're still getting a Maverick clone in 2011. And a GCI in 2012. And a Giant Frisbee in 2013.

But you didn't hear it from me.

When Bart...err...I mean, the person I overheard talking about it mentioned it, he said it would be 320' with a 97 degree drop, LIM lift hill, 4 inversions, and more hills/airtime than Bizarro at SFNE.

Supposebly the 2nd launched tunnel will have a haunted mine theme, and it'll have effects that make it like you're in an earth quake, like Superman in Australia. It then has 6 Stengel Dives, a Norwegian Loop, and a splashdown finale.

Seriously, guys, don't say anything. I shouldn't have mentioned it, and hopefully no one from the park will see what I put on here, or be able to trace it back to me.

I do hope that there is something else in the sleeves for us. But thats wishful thinking. If Hurler does stay I'm wondering if we will be getting the new Timberliner trains for it? Although I wonder how they would feel on Thunder Road?........I will say that I do see possible areas where a nice flat would lie. And if we are to get a WindSeeker I can definately see it fitting in nicely where Scream Weaver currently resides. If all we get for next year is pavers and Snoopy's Starlight I would be happy so long as Thunder Road retracking was completed for next season as well. But it is funny how things are working in pairs of 3's indeed...

1997-Waterworks
1998-Taxi Jam
1999-Afterburn

2000-NFFS
2001-Scooby Doo's Haunted Mansion

2002-Ricochet
2003-Flying Ace Areial Chase
2004-Nighthawk

2005-Nickelodeon Central

2006-Nothing probably because of CF purchasing the chain

2007-Frenzoid put back in as Southern Star
2008-Bondi Beach, NFFS Removed

2009-Carolina Cobra
2010-Intimidator, Planet Snoopy, Boo Blasters on Boo Hill
2011-Snoopy's Starlight, and.....?

I know it doesn't seem like it but Cedar Fair looks to be shuffling the cards on when to expect new attractions. Not to mention there is almost a clear pattern of behavior. I think possibly because of timing and opportunity the whole Snoopy's Starlight is really apart of the Planet Snoopy makeover just phase 2. This year we not only saw Intimidator, but also Planet Snoopy and the retheming of SCHM to Boo Hill and Cyclone got a facelift for its 30th Birthday. Similar to the retracking of TR it couldn't be done because of time, budget, and establishing a face before diving more into the Peanuts universe. It would appear to me at least CF is trying to reverse the order of types of attractions...almost as if they are trying to reverse the influence from Paramount....just a thought. It would certainly appear to be that way as the retheming not only took care of licensure agreements but also putting CF's stamp on the park to become part of the chain. So they chose the most opportune time when to add Intimidator basically saying "this is OUR park" for Cedar Fair. Given the facts, I would not be surprised if all we get is Snoopy's Starlight and maybe a new family flat ride (if we really did get one) would be all that we may see along with more pavers and more retracking on TR and maybe a facelift for Vortex. I am however looking more towards 2012 for a new coaster or a major flat. Can we say WindSeeker dissappointment? After all But I'm being pessimistic, so we will see only with time.
