The station and brake area can fit three trains. The trains aren’t very long, anyways.

Exactly, why would they have 3 trains if they would never operate with 3 trains? Will they be able to run multiple trains on the track at the time without having to wait for both trains to hit the break run. I think they'll be able to run multiple trains on the track when they have 3 train operations, but when they have 2 train operations, they'll have to wait until the other train hits the brakes.

I don't think they'll be able to run multiple trains on the track. I could see them being able to have one as far as the launch barn until the other hits the brakes, but that's about it. I could very well be wrong. I think most of us are puzzled currently on how the blocks would be set up. We should find out soon enough how it will be set up though.

And I think the park will utilize all three trains pretty much all the time, especially during its first season. It's going to be a very popular ride (obviously since it is new), and the trains can only hold 16 people each. We aren't talking about Fury's trains that can hold 32 passengers each.

The question is.. will it take 18 hours to load each train like it does over at Goldrusher?

Yes just take the Fury crew over to Copperhead and they can berate any slow boarders while screaming for everyone to get their seat belt buckled as quickly as possible, plus they can forgo the mandatory "between train" breaks that Goldrusher staff enjoy

If it's set up so that there is always a loaded train staged at the launch, ready to go as soon as the previous train reaches the end of the course, that third train isnt going to help capacity much. Unless the design requires an extended hold in the launch barn, even with no other trains on the course.

I did a search and didn't see anything on this, so for you beer lovers, Carowinds has teamed up with local Sycamore Brewery to bring you Copperhead Strike India Pale Ale.

India Pale Ale just seems so ... out of theme.

You're right, and that's always a possibility, but an IPA beer can be sold at so many retail locations and is a popular craft beer. Not to mention micro-breweries are everywhere now. A moonshine-themed liquor would only be available at ABC stores in the Carolinas and therefore have a much narrower retail distribution.

I forget about the ABC stores in the Carolinas. A beer of some sort would be the better marketing opportunity.

Yeah liquor is so regulated AND there are different laws in each side if the park so a beer is a better, easier, more profitable choice. VF has done this with every new coaster the last few years.

Now if we could get a tap house like KD is getting...
