Gatekeepr is only 170 feet tall and left me with a painful migraine, I can't imagine what a 300 foot wing coaster would do to riders.

Ha! That's stupid. It's obviously going to be an inverted spinning RMC Wooden Coaster that's also a 4D Interactive dark ride themed after Pirates of the Caribbean. You know nothing about Carowinds. :P

I would love to see Mack (not Intamin) come over and build us the world's longest launch coaster which could be a cross between blue fire Megacoaster from Europa Park and Helix from Liseberg except spread out more out and back style to fit where we all think this thing is going. I know we do not have the terrain like Liseberg but a multi launch coaster with smooth but forceful inversions (like the two coasters mentioned) and not tight painful inversions and turns (like Maverick & I-305). It could start off into a 310' (+/-) top hat with one launch then the drop would be all that is needed for most of the ride working it's way through some nice twists, turns and inversions and then a second launch would be around two thirds back to get you back to the station. That is just my three cents worth. As for what I think we are actually getting I would say something similar to Leviathan but hopefully slightly longer and taller with that great vertical figure 8 turn around like Shambhala in Spain.

I would like an Intamin giga, but a LSM slow launch lift instead of a cable lift. I think this would be ideal because the cables on the cable lifts can snap and break causing many days, if not months of downtime. If there are LSMs the speed a cable lift would be ( the ones found on Maverick), there would be no cable snapping and much less downtime. This would also use a single fin magnet for the brakes instead of the double fin magnets that are found on intimidator 305, Kingda Ka, and Top Thrill Dragster. The single fin magnets would be cheaper because you are purchasing half the amount of magnets with the one fin. you would probably pay more for a cable lift and winch with the maintenance that come along with that system than you would for a more reliable LSM system that uses rare earth magnets.
