General Carowinds discussion

If you buy ANY ticket, you can come and go as much as you want the same day.

If you are a card holder, it will only get you in that first time just like the ticket will. You still have to get your hand stamped to re-enter once you use the pass that day.

The difference is that the pass will let you in ANY day for no extra charge.

I think their question is about parking, and the answer to that is yes, you can. I think they give you a ticket when they scan your pass at the parking booth and then you just show that when you return. I can't remember if the pass will scan for parking multiple times in a day or not.

Correct. You get a parking receipt the first time you go through the entrance. Just show that and you can come and go from parking as you please.

We're heading to the park on Sunday. So... about this Peanuts Pirates. After the talk on this forum, I'm going to try it out for the first time. Is there any secret to this ride or do you just get on and go?

Yes, there are secrets. But we can not disclose without the security of your first born child.

We have been season pass holders for the last four years but last night was my youngest son's first time on a 54 inch at Carowinds and he loved it!! He turns twelve in October and has barely grown and had to sit on the sidelines last year as my oldest son and I rode Fury and frankly was bored with the 48 inch rides after two trips to Cedar Point and a couple of recent trips to Dollywood and being able to ride everything there. On the way out of the park he told me it was his favorite day ever at Carowinds and he couldn't wait to go back.

Since TR left, Carowinds' under 48" collection is pretty mediocre. Cyclone and Cobra are rough as hell and Hurler is trimmed to death. I seriously hope the next coaster is a GCI.

I agree. I'm planning trips to Dollywood in part because of Lightning Rod and I'm sure people would do the same at Carowinds. A thrill ride that the whole family can ride.

I would say RMC hurler but 1. The ride is trash and there is basically no saving it and 2. with all that money spent they could just build a new RMC or GCI in hurler's spot.
