General Carowinds discussion

Copperhead continues to get better and better each and every time I ride it. Last weekend I hesitantly said that I thought it was better than Fury. After last night I will hands down say it’s the best coaster in the park. That’s nothing against Fury which I still adore, that’s just a testament to how good Copperhead Strike is.

Also loving the addiction of new shade structures. They may seem annoying now, but I promise come this summer we’ll all be thankful.

Was at the park yesterday and CS did the very same thing. I waited out by the lockers with about 50 other people waiting for it to re-open and while observing the empty trains running, it was almost as if the two launches couldn't get the train thru the full circuit. It was odd to say the least. It finally opened about an hour later after running what seemed to be 30 empty trains.
Fun observation.......everytime a new person or group joined the line, they would start a loud applause when an empty train was in circuit, finally someone advised the newcomers that it's still not open to which of course resulted in dismay and a quick exit to another ride that was open.

btw...that ride queue is a MESS with all those temporary black concert rails strewn about. The queue reminds me of Mystic Timber's queue (sans the temp rails) and will look just as good when the newness wears off and they are ultimately removed.
