Also, not sure if this is the original Goldrusher sign or not but it is from 1993 as well. Anyone know if there were a sign before this?

I like that sign alot! That one must be the one before the one I remember. I think im talking about the one directly before the one we have now. Im about to check the vid out now

I don't remember if that is the sign before the Boardwalk one or not. I do remember that sign(pictured) however. I have always disliked the Boardwalk Goldrusher sign for two reasons:
1)It only says "Goldrusher" not "Carolina Goldrusher"
2)Goldrusher's trains are steam locos, the boardwalk sign has a diesel on it.
Pretty much, the sign breaks the whole theme of the ride. Going from the boardwalk to Goldie's station is like walking from one area of the park to another.

Wow, the 80s held on for a long time didn't they.

And Wild Bull was a fun little ride, I'm still surprised they just scrapped the thing when Top Gun came in.

There's a picture of the Goldrusher entrance in the souvenir book I have from '76 and that's the same sign it had back at that point. If the ride opened with a different one it didn't last too long.

In the one im thinking of which is the one after this one but before the current one, the word "Goldrusher" is alot bigger. Its gold and behind the letters there is a blue-trimmed shadow. Surprised no-one remembers it.
