Think about it this way, if they do call it the Intimidator the 'History Making, Record Breaking' fits the theme of Dale Earnhardt. Doesn't necessarily mean the coaster will be, but the man as a Nascar driver was both history making and record breaking. To me, this screams tallest coaster in the Carolinas or tallest coaster in the Southeast, again being a standard B&M hyper. Remember Borg aka Nighthawk was dubbed as the only flying coaster in the Carolinas and the only coaster to do 8 inversions in the southeast.

Dani did drop one more hint. She mentioned at the end of lunch that the specific log that was on display was significant to the new ride. We looked it over and didn't find anything out of the ordinary except that it was log #3.

Personally, the record breaking part will be tallest, fastest, and/or longest B&M coaster. To be the tallest, it will be around 240 feet. I'm not sure about the others.

The reason people think the 3 on the log flume is significant is it's is dale's car number. Which also makes me think it will be the intimidator, but who knows.

Yeah guys. Today at Coaster Stock, at the Q&A feature of the event, she said that they'll release it in August, I was like.. DANG IT! That's probably why a lot of the people came out to coaster stock today, but oh well.. Sorry guys, no, I don't have a link, but I'm in the process of uploading other stuff from the event, however.

ok you're dissapointed why? If it was announced today, tomorrow, or jan it wouldnt matter. You cant ride it until opening day...oops... and alot of people came to the event for the event...its funny some of you forked over the extra cash thinking you were gonna get a sneek peek and got nothing but some awesome brisket and another month to wait. The way some of you guys are soooo on edge to find out what this ride is gonna be makes cringe. Geesh its not a wedding night (and I bet alot of you guys cant wait till then lol)

I thought that Dani actually announced that the coaster would be announced August 26th on the Carowinds site. I just read that wrong.

I dont feel like waiting another month for a announcment!!

Then dont...you know you can do other things like...leave your room...go walk around outside...make a friend...

I dont feel like hearing people cry about the announcement not being yesterday...

Trust me...alot of people were filming it (for what reason I have no idea because it showed nothing film worthy) so its bound to show up on youtube or something.

Again it amazes me that some of you went to the event just to see if they would announce the ride. Didnt go to hang out with people with your same interest, didnt go to get a taste of what goes on behind the scenes of the park, didnt go to have fun...just went to be the first to "know". How pathetic! I wonder how many left after the q&a?
