Paramount claims to own "World Class, Themed Entertainment Expieriences" on all of their press releases. World Class makes it seem overly extravagant, when they are not technically doing anything other than naming attractions after movie franchises.
And, after such an exciting, uplifting press release that came with Borg Assimilator, one can understand why people and enthusiasts are over hyped and expecting things such as expensive pre-shows and such.
The bottom line is that the park is just trying to sell some tickets. Once you've paid to get in, they don't care if you think the park is themed, if the rides are good, if the employees are friendly, and so on. They've got your $40, so their happy.
And I'm not just bashing Paramount. They've did some great things for the park, like Carolina Boardwalk, the large waterpark, and the huge kiddie areas. We all know that if KECO was still it's own company, Vortex would have probably been our last new coaster for 8 or 9 years.
But people should not expect great things from a company that is nothing but Six Flags with a larger budget.
