I agree. Im not super excited about it but its pretty good. Heres a thought? Why do they charge extra for these things but you can hear the music if you are near the entrance?

It’s the 12 Days of Carowinds! Each day we will update the site with something new and exciting we’re looking forward to in 2011!

Today we are excited to announce a new nightly fireworks show, called Illuminations, to light up the night!

To add more excitement to the previously announced Snoopy’s Starlight Spectacular, Carowinds announces an impressive new fireworks show, called Illuminations, which will run nightly at 10pm from July 1 through August 7. Both of these exciting new nighttime entertainment offerings are highlighted by the extension of Carowinds’ operating hours till 10pm from June 27 – August 7.

That didn't last long (as I expected)... They've now adopted the July 4th show name (Nights of Fire) for the entire fireworks show to avoid Disney coming after them (possibly) for using the name Illuminations.

I bet the next thing they announce is 'Snoopy Rocks! On Ice.' I just happened to be on their site and clicked what's new for 2011 when I saw that. I'm guessing I caught it between the time they update Facebook and the time they update the site.
