Great thing is everyone has their views on what they think is good and what is not. Alot of sites have Hard Liners who try to convince the mindless people that they should like such and such ride. What I like about her eis noone is like that. I have to say I liked the Untamed Version of I305 myself. I have not rode it since they Modified it.

Sorry for the double post folks bur recall I am nor encougaging everyone to vote for Carowinds version of Intimidator. Seem some webmaster of a certain coaster websire is sending mass mailings out to people to vote for I305. Now I am all for people's views but well you know how I feel about bullies in the Coaster World and it would be awsome to see his marketing e-mail fail.

Agreed Dave. Most of us on here have the sense to check our egos at the door.

It's just a harmless little poll, but this is yet another example of that certain webmaster getting off on throwing his own 'weight' around. Seemed an immature and biased 'campaign' to me, but that's what you can generally expect from that site.

I found that to be real...immature as immature as "their" rant about deleting facebook friends because someone got their panties in a bunch...but the love fest "they" recieved afterwards almost made me puke lol...

This poll means nothing to anyone except the parks to say they have another "notch" on their belt but like it was said, when you are biased and running a site for theme parks in general you should keep your personal opinions out of my face.

I think carowinds telling people to vote for a their ride is different than a supposedly unbiased message board rooting for a particular ride, the ride they were allowed to strap cameras on and jizz all over...

It was altered so many times making it a new coaster almost every month.

Does it even matter? I mean really? Do you guys need some random poll to validate that "your" Intimidator is better than the other one? Will that result help you sleep at night, that a few hundred people agree with you? Does your opinion really need that much reassurance?

You fail to see your own point. Yes a park based site/fansite will want people to vote for anything concerning the park but a site that claims to NOT be bias towards some parks and manufactors should, in my opinion, not herd people to vote for one ride over another. Yeah, they def should have their own opinion and like what ever ride they want to but to tell people to vote for their fav ride is kinda, well...unfair to the other parks in the running that give them "esclusive" time at the park.

The rest of your rant (I mean is he screwing you or something cause you seem to have strong feelings towards the situation), you can choke on it because I even said intimidator wasn't the best coaster this year but I guess you dont see you just see people "bashing" when in fact people are just stating how they feel thats a little biased for a universal coaster and theme park site to do that...

Dont get me wrong, I like viewing and occasionally posting on TPR but its pretty obvious things arent perfect over there...

^I don't see anywhere where they say they aren't biased. I don't think Robb has ever made it a secret that he likes 305 a lot more than 232, and if I remember correctly, I think 305 was put into his top 5 after it opened. It's called Theme Park Review, they review theme parks and rides. Some rides and parks get better reviews than others.

If he wants people to vote for 305, once again, who cares? I'm pretty sure if someone over there didn't want to vote for 305 (or at all), they didn't. Otherwise, if the claims of people here and elsewhere hold true, 305 should have 30,000 votes before it's all said and done, seeing how the site is full of nothing but "sheep." I voted for 305 before he even put out the e-mail about voting for it, because frankly, it pisses all over every other ride that was built this year (rode it before and after trims, still better). 232 is a great ride, loved every single one of the 161 laps I got on it last year, but it doesn't even hold a tiny candle to 305.

As far as how the site's run, I couldn't care less. It's his site, he pays for the web space, he can run it however he wants to. I don't get caught up in childish crap like bashing webmasters over the internet with my big, bad internet muscles.

At least you dont have to worry about 232's candle burning out. It's pretty reliable.
