What's the point? foreward always pulls ahead in the turnaround and then wins. It is more arrowdynamic. They should add more weight to the backwards train or turn it around...again.

It's fun to see people's faces on the other train on the trip outwards. On the trip back I don't really care if they're side by side or not.

I feel partially responsible for them actually turning the blue train backwards. Back in the early to mid-90's I knew several of the guys that did TR's mechanical work. I use to always ask them why we aren't running a backwards train while PKI & PKD do. The first answer I got was that the PTC's on TR were built slightly different than the ones at the other parks due to the fact that TR's track was originally built to accomodate the heavy Riverview Jetstream trains. It would require some type of retrofit on the train to do it. Of course, I found that hard to accept, so I continued to hound them year after year about it (in a joking way of course). One of the guys actually called me and told me my wish was coming true the next season, that they were going to turn the blue side backwards. I was ecstatic!

My point is, yes, speaking up does make a difference.

They should add sensors like on the Dueling Dragons that make the trains race.

I feel responsible for them adding BORG. I always told my sources they they should have a flying coaster in the park themed to star trek. I hounded them for months on end and they replied that the people @ carowinds didnt want a tip top thrill ride, they only want mid size jr. coasters. S. i aske them how did they come to that conclusion. The reply was that for the last several years they have been adding small attractions and they have been progressivly setting attendance records year after year, so whats the point of adding a major thrill ride when they are comfortable with the worlds tallest kiddie coaster!!

So i suggested they they form a thrill reasearch survey and send it to park goers to see what they really want. One day i was just sitting at home watching jerry springer (wondering how i can get some springer beads) and my phone rang. It was my sources and they had some good news for me. I was told that they were gonna get the flyer that i ever so bugged them about. They told me thanks to me they were able to here the public's voice on what they want and what they enjoyed.
