Awesome news! I've been waiting to hear about their overseas picking for a while. Well, now we now.
Great move C.F.!!
Now, will they go "behind" Cyclone or in County Fair or scattered about? Hmm....

if you read it says this .

After extensive rehabs, five of the rides are heading to Carowinds outside Charlotte, N.C., and the other two are on their way to Missouri’s Worlds of Fun in time for the summer season.

I take that as worlds of fun will have theirs ready. It doesn't say BOTH will have them ready.

I dont think any of these rides will be avaliable at Carowinds this season. They already have a TON to showcase. That's like adding two fury's in the same year. Im almost sure this (plus more) is for 2017 . . . thats my fair assessment. of it all.

I was in the park today, but we didn't go towards County Fair. We did, however, go up to Harmony Hall and the new Starbucks. The roof is on (still being worked on) and the walls are all up. Interior work is also taking place.

As soon as the new warehouse is finished, the Top Scan will be moved inside there for now.

After this news has sunk in, I just have to applaud Cedar Fair for their clear and apparent dedication to transforming Carowinds into what it was always meant to be: a major amusement destination that unifies the Carolinas and brings joy to families all over the region. This is just another huge step in that direction.

We should all take a breath and be very, very appreciative of what we've received as of late, and for what we will be getting in the near future. It's amazing to think that in the last couple years (and in next couple, too) Carowinds has seen so much positive change, almost a decade's worth of most other park's expansion budget all in such a short time span - - more than enough, IMO, to sweeten any of the negatives; like Thunder Roads' unfortunate removal, even though it isn't exactly an even trade.

Hopefully they take advantage of these rides being classics and bring back some of those retro ride names from the park's past. Names like Witchdoctor, Black Widow, Meteorite, etc. are all just too cheesy-in-the-best-way not to make a comeback! But no matter what these end up being called, or themed to, I think it's safe to call these additions a win regardless!

Now I'm just crossing my fingers that at least a couple of them make it into the park this season, and the suspense doesn't kill me before 2017! News like this really softens the blow that being a coaster junkie can sometimes take on your wallet, especially when it's your homepark getting all the love!!

Too bad WOF is getting the Condor, that thing looks awesome. I would trade out the Wave Swinger replacement to get that instead.

btw...will Carowinds ever see a Delirium or a Skyhawk type ride?

Yes it's very disorienting. These type rides are typically at a carnival or fair, the classic spin and puke type flats. At the fair can be rather aggressive and intense with long ride cycles. I hope cedar fair or Carowinds doesn't take the ride as like the did gauntlet or place it planet snoopy like California Great America did and painfully slowed it down. I do hope it's placed in the county fair section and have the elaborate backdrop equipped with extravagant lighting packages and a sound and fog system as well as the music express.

I hope both make into the park soon as well. They're great tween rides that pack a good lunch with a high thrill level yet a lower height restriction.

This is great news. With all these flats there going to add, this park is turning into the Canada’s Wonderland of the south.

I have also ridden a Breakdancer, at a Six Flags park it use to have. Very fun ride, and I kinda miss it. It kinda feels what it would be like, if a Scramber starts going out of control.

I’m also happier with a Breakdancer than a Condor. I have been on the one at Marineland, and it was fun, but not quite as thrilling imo.

So Breakdance is like Calypso and music express is like Matterhorn? Troika is also a great flat. Top scan looks awesome. Great job cedar fair!!! Really transforming Carowinds into a top park
