Have you ever ridden a rollercoaster. Well its more of a kiddie rid tan a thrill but it is still a lot of fun and welcome to the forums.

If a kid looks at what some people can do on The Flying Scooter, they would just turn around and run. The Flying Scooter isn't a kiddy rides, teh Jetliners are a kiddy ride.The Flying Balloons is really a family ride. A kiddy ride is something that moves real slow and has max. height restriction of 50". Which reminds me, I need to move the Flying Balloons to the Family Rides Page.

Why do we need it...The kids dont care how AS looks or how many rides are there. How is the park supose to have movie theming and we add some crap we dont need.

First of all "we" didnt add anything to the park we just go there and appreciate what the park has to offer, well atleast I thought thats whats "we" did. I think its more along the lines of have a visual pleasing enviroment. Your right, kids dont care how things look, but do the kids drive themselves to the parks. If the park was shabby the parents would want their kids there. And I guess you know what the ride names are and themes because your probably the only one.......

Have you ever been to Islands of Adventure? Have you been in the Dr. Seuss Area? I mean come on, where would you rather be?
Kids do care how things look. Trust me I have 2!

Them Scooters are hardly crap we don't need as they are awesome. Expecially if you can get most of it occupied with those you know.

Woooo Hoooooooooo YEAH I finally get to Ride that ride. When I visited in Aug I was wanting to ride it however the Line was long and I was not in the Mood to wait because I knew that It would take forever.

I'm not glad that PKI lost them, but I'm glad at least we got them and they didn't get scrapped (a la Drachenfire).

I'm still kind of in shock:

A. That we're getting it at PC
B. That so many people are crying over losing the thing. It's like come on people, you're getting a new coaster next year. boo hoo!

Maybe I'm a bit too insensitive..but

a) I'm glad we're getting them.

B) Kinda reminds me of the boat situation. Sure I hated to see it go but what could we do? No use whining over it. Just move on and enjoy the future! I think some people got entirely out of hand over losing the boat. I see the same thing happening over the moving of the flyers. I've read where some people said they're never going back to PKI over the loss of the Eagles. Part of me wants to say 'get real." Hey, I've been upset over losing a ride or two but nothing to make me stop going to a park. That's bloody stupid. Some people need to get a grip.

At least they're being saved and moved to another park where people can enjoy them. Paramount passes are good at the other parks including Carowinds

I don't think I would go back to Carowinds if they took out TG; or at least untill they got a new major coaster. But then again Scooters : TG is a bad analogy.

Since we're talking "Hypatheticly" here, I would still go to Carowinds if they took out Top Gun. I was a season pass holder before Top Gun was built, so I don't see why I wouldn't be if it was removed. Now, if there was another major park 30 minutes from my house it might be a different story, but as it is, I will continue to visit Carowinds as long as it has rides.
