[/QUOTE]Also can I ask what the original poster means by "Expand Danny Phantom Flyers?" I don't even know which way to go with that one..

Sorry for the confusion JamminJ. What I kind of meant was they should improve the ride, put in more cars or flyers, and make the cue line bigger because people are now understanding and are going to fully understand the rides awesomeness and power. i love the flyers and I hope they should make like a snapping contest to see who can stall or snap the most. it would be fun, entertaining, and a challenge. I can always use the practice.

[/QUOTE-We want the park crowded????]

Read on what I have to say. I didn't say I want the park more crowded. Also thanks, redhotroller9009 for your comment on what I mean for a current record setting ride. IMO Carowinds needs something taller than 120 feet and faster than 60mph! It would turn Carowinds from the somewhat under-rated park to a mega park that we would see on the Travel Channel. That may not be what you want, but its what I want.

I think that in the next 5 years, Carowinds will spruce up County Fair. They could do this by keeping Frenzoid, but adding 1 or 2 big flats over that way. A Frisbee type ride and perhaps something else would be nice as well.

They'll also transform the waterpark into Boomerang Bay. It will happen, and it will be nice.

Somewhere they'll probably put in a Top Spin themed to Tomb Raider. If not, we will see a Tomb Raider ride there in the next 5 years.

Finally, some type of new, innovative coaster will be put in the park in the next 5 years. They have the essentials, with the exception of a launcher. They'll either get a launcher, or something less 'lift hill traditional', I'm sure.

does a drop of 125 ft and a speed of 62 mph work for you?

Uh, no. I want something big and bad like 400 feet not 100 or not 60 mph maybe like 80 or 90. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Why something big and bad?? Look at Millenium Force at Cedar Point. That is a terrible ride. It may be really tall, but it is a terrible coaster (too short, and less exciting).

Now look at the Superman Ride Of Steel at Six Flags New England. OH YEAH! A thrill everyone gets when they ride it. That is why everyone puts it as #1 on there list of coasters. If you have riden it, you know what I mean! ;) It may be 210 feet, but tallness doesn't make a coaster "big and bad". Superman has the coolest first drop, the best layout, THE BEST AIRTIME, and has 2 kick a8s tunels. And also the best views of the park, Conn. river, and downtown Springfield (look behind you). Before you die, you need to ride Superman Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England! lol

Millenium Force is not terrible coaster. It has awesome views and it doesnt lack excitment. Also at 210 feet, Superman is still looking pretty big and bad compared to most coasters. Maybe Carowinds doesnt need something big and bad, but it needs something different, and something that brings more excitment.

You're right, Carowinds needs something different! I can't wait till they put in that see-saw flying roller coaster. :) That coaster looks like it be'n pimp'd out from the rest. Can't wait till 2008.

If they add in the spinning swingy thing (HUSS), it has to be a Tomahawk kind. The Delerium kind doesn't spin that fast. It's all about the spinning! The second part on the Tomahawk is THE BEST! WEEEEEEEE!!!! If you've riden it, you know what I mean!

And Paramount Parks is known for bringing in the "different" kinds of excitement. Think about all the first that Paramount has brought into it's parks.

1) First looping wood coaster in modern times - (Son of Beast)
2) First Intamin launch - (Volcano)
3) First compressed-air launched roller coaster - (Hypersonic)
4) First interactive water coaster (Flying Super Saturator)

I'm sure Paramount continues to look at all the new technology and will be bringing more
first to it's parks in the coming years.

Hey Justin, I thought that flat was quite dull...I'm sure a delerium would be better...

Agreed. I rode the ride Justin is talking about and didn't find it that great. Delirium doesn't spin as fast because it's about three times as big and travelling 70 miles per hour.
