It'll prob. be even better then the one on the video, b/c as the press release says, it's standing over water...

Hopefully they'll theme the water to actually feel like you're over it [although that prob. won't be a problem with it rocking side-to-side], b/c PC didn't do the best job of that w/ Frenzoid...

Splash Country to get new slides in '06

Fresh off my 5 day trip to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, Splash Country has announced Fire Tower Falls....

Dolly's Splash Country will add Fire Tower Falls next year, a pair of 70 foot tall freefall drop slides that will become the park’s tallest and fastest slides. The slide tower will be placed next to Mountain Waves and each slide will travel 280 feet that will end near the new Bear Mountain Fire Tower.

That came from screamscape....I haven't found any thing on the site about it..

Looks so much fun! Big Bear Plunge was awesome since when I went last year in June they were still building it. I wonder how fast you will be traveling and how if it will be vertical!
