When you came through Dark Harvest, did someone in a gillie suit scare you at all?
When it's dark outside, It's really hard for me to see exactly who I'm scaring. I just see a figure and I react (or sometimes not at all, it depends on if there is a large group or just one or two people).

I went thru during daylight. I actually don't startle easy and don't scare at all for park events like this, unfortunately. Looking forward to Scary Farm to see if it's different, but we're trying to get tickets for either Delusion or Crerp in LA so I hope one of those scares me.

Sad, but I wouldn't be surprised if Scarowinds were cancelled this weekend due to the violence in uptown. Carowinds is the perfect venue for these agitators to do their thing. Not so much inside the park, but in the parking lot or surrounding businesses.

Why in the world was the park emptied at 10:30 tonight? Was that the plan all along? There was no notice or posting anywhere. The park was supposed to close at 11. We didn't get dinner and we were all herded to the front like cattle thirty minutes before closing. So frustrating.

I'm not sure. We walked through London Terror well before 11 to go to Harmony Hall and I noticed that there were no characters in that area. It seemed like all the people I could see were moving in the direction of the gate. There was definitely no signage stating they were emptying the park at 10:30. Someone on Facebook said there was a protest but we didn't see anything being in the front of the park.

In Dark Harvest, that is the one thing that stood out to me - no animatronics. It would have been awesome to have those rocking chairs move on their own (like at Knotts all the time on the second story porch)

I see they are promoting Boo Fest this morning on Facebook, but nothing SCarowinds related. If it was busy last night maybe they decided to close early to ensure that everyone got out on time.

Are the curfews affecting travelers on the interstates?

I don't feel like it was busy at all last night. No line for the Intimadator or Afterburn at all. If you're going to close at 11 that's one thing but there was NO notice that everyone would be forced to leave at 10:30. If you're going to do that, post it and tell people.
