Someone is on top of the Sky Tower and is moving Camera 1. They've shifted it up and to the right. Looks like we should be able to see the top of the first hill now. Huzzah!

I've been watching it live all morning. Funny thing is, when it started moving, I didn't realize what was happening at first. Thought my computer was freaking out. I'm dumb.

The cameras no longer have to be hand adjusted. They can be adjusted from inside via computer now.

Looks like there are three pieces of track near the hill right now. I'd guess we'll see the new spine completely attached to the bottom of the hill today.

What's arriving on the trucks right now? Looks like parts for yet another crane.

Maybe it's for an extension to C.J.
Because one crane will be needed to hold up the lift hill sections, another will hold the man basket while the third crane will lift the top sections into place.

I think you are right, they are bringing those pieces over to him, right now.

I missed how the spine turned yellow after it was already in place. Was it painted on or are those panels that they attached?

That's what I was wondering, but I think that it was just the angle of the sun.

The underside was always painted that color. When they lifted it up, and rotated it, that side came around and into view of the camera.

edit- now that I think about it, I am second guessing myself. I am pretty sure that it was that color when it was put into place. The color really pops now with the sun directly on it though.

Lots of Maingate work today. Looks like they are grading the "stateline" area and pouring footers for one of the new buildings. so much activity. Really very exciting.

And the bright green on the backside of the drop spine looks amazing!
