My wishlist for Carolina Harbor?

This is at the top of my list:

This is a pretty close second. The nearest water coaster is in Tennessee.

Carolina Harbor has a surprising lack of family slides. Hurricane Falls seems to be the only one, and Pelican Plunge is basically a kiddie slide. This is under construction at Volcano Bay, but I'd love one here:

Now for theming! Remove the Dasani branding and put it behind the Carolina Harbor sign near Whitewater Falls!

And this! This would look awesome outside of Harbor House!

Those are not raft slides . . . those are going to be single/double tube slides.

And this would look good where Carolina Harbor is......
Even with waterpark on both sides like Kings Dominion.
I wish I may, I wish might have the wish I wish tonight.

Oh wait wishes don't come true if you wish let aloud.....

Why move the Boardwalk theming, Carolina Harbor already has more theming than Boomerang Bay and WaterWorks did.

Ah. Did not know that. I still think a family slide complex would be a great addition to the water park.

I did "Let It Go,
I couldn't hold back anymore"
I "let the storm rage on"

Now I am just to see what a happy snowman looks like in summer.

One day, when you get to more parks other than Carowinds, you'll realize Thunder Road wasn't that big a loss. You won't admit it, but you'll know.

Well, I've really got nothing better to do, so more wishlist spam!
Nighthawk is a fun ride. With Thunder Road gone, it's probably the fourth best ride in the park. But the capacity is absolutely awful. I'd honestly vote for keeping it in the park if it weren't for the lines. The trains aren't exactly comfortable either. But I don't think the park could market it as a new experience by just increasing capacity and changing the trains. So I think Nighthawk should be moved to a park that could actually use it: Valleyfalr.

Now I'm not going to sit here and talk about how Valleyfair is "horribly neglected" like some needy fanboy. But relocating Nighthawk could give the park a major addition without exceeding their budget like a B&M would.

I would place the coaster at the front of the park in Dinosaurs Alive's space. A flying coaster soaring over the park's entrance would certainly make a statement. I would paint the track red and the supports grey. I would replace the station with a double-loading station, and I would replace the trains with more comfortable trains that tilt on the lift hill instead of in the station. The trains would also tilt back upright on the break run. This would fix Nighthawk's two major problems: capacity and comfort. And Valleyfair would get a fun looping coaster unique to the region.

Then I would replace Nighthawk with a nice launch coaster. :D

You've never been to Michigan's Adventure have you, lol.

Stealth/Borg/Nighthawk was designed to do this but it never could quite figure it out so the idea was scrapped. Not sure if the ride is still setup to do this without some work, but in any case, the design elements needed to make it work are already done.

Rideman gave a good explanation on why it couldn't. Apparently when the trains go around the turn into the lift (or something), there were issues with hydraulic Pistons shearing. Not sure if Premier even left the mechanics on when they refueled the train. Silly Vekoma.

Wishlist time!

South Gate Renovation:

I would pull the gate out in front, add a few more ticket booths, and place a planter in the center with the original Carowinds logo on it (as seen here: http://carowindsearlyyears.com/logo-trans2x.png). Possibly without the flags since the south gate is in South Carolina.

On the inside, I would place a replica of the Pineapple Fountain in the center of the plaza (as seen below). On the left side, I would replace the current kiosk with a gift shop similar to Traditions at the North Gate, along with a new information center. On the right, I would add a new bathroom. The pathway leading up to Afterburn would be replaced with Brick Pavers.

Now, for my new themed area: Lowcountry. Lowcountry would be themed to Charleston and it's surrounding region. The first area you would enter from the South Gate would be themed to the Charleston Naval base. It would include Afterburn and a Gerstlauer Skyroller with a similar theme.

Dinosaurs Alive and the bathroom next to it would be replaced with a new, GCI family-racer similar to Joris en de Draak named "Charlesteed." It would be themed to a Charleston horse carriage tour turned into a race between the tour guides. It would run over and under Intimidator, leaving space for Planet Snoopy expansion. The area where the bathroom is would serve as the ride plaza, and the Dinostore would become the ride's gift shop.

The next part of Lowcountry would be the western half of the Carolina RFD. Boo Blasters would be replaced with a Triotech dark ride themed to a haunted Charleston mansion. It would use screens and projection mapping, and the queue would be enclosed.

Chick Fil-A would be replaced with a seafood restaurant themed after the park's lost Riverboat Attraction, and a Captain Buddy Animatronic would greet guests as they walk in.

Concept "art" is displayed below:

I have way too much free time on my hands. Three weeks left of summer!
