I was there on sunday, and i saw a lot of people jumping from the exit line over the rails to get back in the queue but it was mainly the 12-16 yr old crowd.

Also there was this one chick that was trying to get through the line past me and my brother, she kept saying "excuse me", and i was like there isn't any line jumping. She said "oh, i am not" I said "then where are you going?" She didn't answer just shoved herself by. Then a couple minutes later i was walking by her when crossing in the line. I tapper her on the shoulder and said " I thought you weren't jumping ahead." She replied "I wasn't I had to use the bathroom." Everyone in the line started laughing at her, and another guy said " i am gonna report you." It was funny. The infamous potty break line jump, it's classic!

just saying that when i was there, there was a fight in the line and there were a ton of kids(mostly under 15) jumping the line and walking to the very top of the stairs and also almost every time i rode my picture was censored because the idiots behind me would flick off the camera. The line moved fast but something has to be done.

It really does seem like groups of younger kids are the ones that do the line jumping. Luckily I havent really seen it happen when I was in line. There really is no point since everyone will get to ride eventually anyway. Oh well, I guess security guards in the queue would be one of the only ways to get things calmed down a bit in that sense...

Trains have empty seats for several reasons.
1. People are told to go to certain numbers, but some of them suddenly can't count when they get to the ride and wonder off to unassigned seats.
2. Guest with big thighs, who didn't see the tester seat at the entrance or who are embarrassed to sit in it after it has been pointed out to them, have to then brave everyone looking at them exit the station because their restraint would not lock, leaving empty seats behind, and holding up the loading and unloading trains.
3. Many times, the friends of the people too large for the seat will also exit with them, leaving even more empty seats.
4. Pairs and groups who go up the single line, thinking they are riding together, get split up, don't like it, and team back up to ride together anyway, throwing the seat organization off.
5. People creating confusion with the ride associate by continuously requesting a certain seat after they've been told it's impossible to fill every one's request, but they still want to stand there demanding their rights, which holds up the line and the ride attendant can't get every seat filled for each train.

We are truly sorry for disappointing some of you with the empty seats; but now you have new insights that will help you have more patience next time.

What I requested during training, along with a few other coworkers, is to allow our guest to sit where they want. "Nope, that is not Carowinds' procedure," was the reply. In order to allow free seating they have to take away the Single Rider Line. If they take away the Single Rider Line every seat will not be filled on each train, which is the main goal of having the Single Rider Line in the first place.

While other parks have had Single Lines for years (ex. Universal Studios' "The Mummy" & "Men in Black"), it is all new for Carowinds and some folks just don't get it, yet.

That's the main and only thing I've been slightly disappointed in with the Intimidator is assigned seats. I hate the fact we can't pick. I've been dying to sit in the first row since I've been on it. I've been on it ten times and the closest I got to that was row 4. The team does an excellent job dealing with people winning and complaining though. They are very nice as well. You guys do a great job with the whole idea of assigned seats, even though I'm not a huge fan.

I agree, been on it more than that and still have not landed in the front row...normaly I get put in the back 3rd of the train, but it is all good since you are all working so hard and smiling so big!

Go early on a sunday, you will be able to pick where you want to sit when no one is there..... You could also just come to coasterstock and do some ERT! I have seen people request the front row and the guy assigning the seats will let them as well...

Do you think they would ever be a little "more strict" as far as the larger people go. I would think that if you are a certain size you would need to try the seat out. I dont really know how exactly that would work, but mayber a sign should be put up that says please ensure a proper fit before boarding or something. I did know someone that was able to get in the test seat but then on the actual ride the restraint wouldnt lock because his legs were so big. At first it was locked and then they unlocked it for someone and then he couldnt lock it again for some reason. I guess its all about how you sit huh? Oh well, no one is perfect there will be empty seats and it shouldnt matter because the line is less than 20 min from way back at the vending machines, or it seems less than 20.

YAY! No more redneck music right???? How busy was it today? I really wanted to come up there but I didnt. I was thinking of going tomorrow but I probaly wont. May head up to the park sunday I hope. Oh well I am sure it was a good day, hope the 9am thing works out on Fridays, still think it would make sense to open at 9 on saturdays but what do i know? Oh well!

Is the new music still "themed" to the country bumpkin theme? I prefer i305's silence and ominous "this ride features prolonged periods of high positive and negative g-forces" recording to Carowinds' square dancing. It certainly removes all of the Intimidation imo.

So were they just running 2 trains today? On the cam that is what it looked like and I had not seen that before.

It wouldnt surprise me if they were only running 2 trains. On slow days they run 2. Usually on Sundays they have 2 running since theres less people. The parking lot today is already almost full and the park dont even opend for 45min... must be because of that walk for diabetes or something, not sure. Hopefully i will make it to the park tomorrow.
