^Knowing exactly what, and how, I wanted to film.
Most videos I create now I at least have planned out beforehand. However, even though this one will be short, I've been working on it two days now, and I'm about halfway done with it. The video is short, but I filmed around an hour of footage (mostly jumpscares, people getting scared, light effects, props, animatronics, off-ride shots, and things like that) so I would have a variety of clips to work with.

Thanks^ Now I know how, haha.
Let me know what you all think of it. This took nearly four days of editing.

Excellent video, FamousAmos! This is what we meant by editing and that video is worth watching in its entirety. In fact, I watched it all before I realized it was at the end. Once again, excellent job! It is certainly better than any video that I have made since it is clear you have an artistic eye.

Thanks a lot! This video was in planning for about a week. I spent all evening on Sunday filming shot after shot (over an hour of video), then the last 4 days editing it. So far, everyone really likes it.

Question.

My daughter was asked by a friend today to go to SCarowinds tomorrow night. (She's 13yo) What's the cheapest ticket for her. There's a $34.99 ticket online. She has a Silver pass. Would the silver pass get her a discount at the gate? What are my options?

I need to know soon. Have to make a decision by early morning.

We went last night to Scarowinds and thinking it was the last weekend and there would be a lot of activitiy....I left a bit disappointed. My favorite 2 mazes were gone - Cornstalkers and Last Laff. Dark Harvest is described as Cornstalkers bigger, scarier brother but it wasn't in my opinion. The sets were good though. I guess I'd have to say my favorite maze this year is Slaughterhouse.

There weren't many characters roaming the park and the ones in the scare zones weren't scaring people at all, they were talking to the other characters or park employees. We walked through 3 of the scare zones without being approached by anyone.

Jelp I have to agree and I just spent 20 minutes typing up a list and review, only to delete it. I'm following what my mom always told me...."If you don't have something nice to say, keep your mouth shut." :-)

On a positive note, Dark Harvest has some real potential if they can dump the cartoon "hillbilly" routines about moonshine and focus on scares (Josh, you actually got me....at least I think that was you). Also, some of the carnival stuff in the new scare zone was really nice.

The traffic to Scarowinds is back up almost to the 485 interchange, the far right hand lane that is. They'll definitely be making money tonight.

Giles, I was the gillie suit in the long hallway after the moonshine room. I think I heard you say my name, but when it's dark outside, it's very hard for me to see exactly who I'm scaring. I felt bad (yet strangely happy) tonight because I made a girl piss herself...
One more night to go
